Minecraft Seed Map

Explore an interactive 2D Minecraft world seed map with Overworld, Nether, and End biomes, structure candidate locators, Slime Chunks, and 64-bit seed support.

Supports full 64-bit signed integer seeds and text seeds (Java String.hashCode) across Java Edition (1.12–1.21) and Bedrock Edition (1.19–1.21).

Separate Java & Bedrock World-Gen Engines: Java Edition uses 64-bit SplitMix64 + 48-bit JavaRandom LCG region seeding (341873128712 / 132897987541) and Java Slime Chunks. Bedrock Edition uses C++ std::mt19937 (BedrockMT19937) for structure region candidates, inner Stronghold rings, and seed-independent Bedrock Slime Chunks.

How to Use Minecraft Seed Map

  1. 01.Enter any 64-bit numeric seed or text phrase (or click Random Seed), then choose Java or Bedrock Edition, Minecraft version, and Dimension (Overworld, Nether, or End).
  2. 02.Pan by dragging the map, zoom with the scroll wheel or zoom buttons, and hover to inspect exact X/Z coordinates, chunk numbers, region files, and biomes.
  3. 03.Toggle structure markers (Villages, Ancient Cities, Trial Chambers, Strongholds, Mansions, Monuments, Nether Fortresses, Bastions, End Cities) or use the Biome Finder to jump to the nearest matching biome.

How It Works

Parses seeds using lossless 64-bit BigInt arithmetic, evaluates multi-noise climate fields in progressive 64×64 cached tiles, and computes region-grid structure candidate coordinates using edition-specific salt constants.

Supported Formats & Outputs

  • • 64-bit Signed Integer Seeds
  • • Text Phrase Seeds (Java String.hashCode)
  • • Overworld, Nether & End Dimensions
  • • PNG Map Export

Common Questions about Minecraft Seed Map

Why does the Seed Map distinguish between candidate and confirmed structures?

Minecraft determines structure attempts using a deterministic region grid and seed salt, then checks whether the target chunk matches the allowed biome and terrain height. Our Seed Map verifies the 64-bit region math and biome compatibility and clearly labels pins as Region + Biome Candidates.

Does the Seed Map support large negative 64-bit seeds?

Yes! All seed parsing uses native 64-bit BigInt arithmetic (-9223372036854775808 to 9223372036854775807) so large seeds never lose precision.
